Aloha! I'm Jerry Sullivan and I live on the beautiful island of Maui in Hawaii. I was the sole owner of Vanto Graphics, a web design firm but 9 years ago I decided it was time to pursue my passion of oil painting the beauty of my island so I paint Maui scenics, florals, and seascapes, as well as Chinese brush painting and watercolors. For the last few years, my hubby Jim and I had been hauling artwork, easels, canopies and other paraphernalia to art fairs under the Banyan Tree in Lahaina but as we were progressing in our senior years, it had become less fun and more work! So we retired from the art fairs.

 

I have always loved jewelry, so I decided to go back to my high school days of working in a jewelry store and designing jewelry, which got me to here!

 

I call my company "Funky and Fine" as I design whatever comes into my head, from industrial style jewelry with nuts, bolts, and washers from the local hardware to clunky stones with copper, brass, and silver mixed to beautiful rosary-style gemstone necklaces. I never know what I'm going to make next so I design an idea  and then figure out how to make it. And I work at my home studio in Kihei, Maui and am happy to show you both my jewelry and artwork by appointment. Just give me a call!

Finally, I try to create almost all aspects of my jewelry, purchasing only the stones and wire and creating most clasps, connectors, and many of the chains. Enjoy!
